Home page mockups

Three shortlisted directions for parents and their children. All three use the same design system: colours, fonts, components and spacing. They differ in layout, imagery and what they put first. Every other page is shared. Mockup 4 is the home page on staging today, rebuilt here to compare.

  1. Mockup 1

    Chess portraits

Playful learning-app home page: kids’ photos inside big chess pieces, then the details parents need.

Photos inside knight, pawn and rook silhouettes in the hero, colourful skill tiles, how lessons work, the three levels and the latest news.

  2. Mockup 2

    Class finder

Course-catalogue page for parents who already know they want a class and need the right slot.

Branch, level and day filters over every weekly class at both branches, each with a direct Register link.

  3. Mockup 3

    Two audiences

One page that speaks separately to parents and to young players with a switch at the top.

A "For parents / For players" switch changes the hero and the section under it: logistics for parents, skills and tournaments for players.

  4. Mockup 4

    Current site

The home page now on staging.dkchessacademy.com, rebuilt here with the same sample content to compare.

Cinzel headline with one red line and a stats row, the banner carousel under the hero, the three levels, the latest announcements and a closing band.

Photos are free Unsplash stock images used as placeholders until the academy provides its own class photos (with parental consent). Student names, results and announcements are sample content. Fees, session times and branch addresses are still open in the PRD.
